Water – 1 cup
Milk – 1/2 cup
Tea leaves – 1 tsp
Sugar – as per taste (2-3 tsp)
Ginger – 1/2 inch (optional)

Step 1,
Fill a pan with a cup of water and heat it on medium heat. If you like your tea spicy, add a slice of ginger or one or two cardamom seeds and boil some water.
Step 2:Add the tea leaves
Add a teaspoon of tea leaves to the boiling water in a pot. Let it boil for two to three minutes to bring out the flavor of the tea leaves.
Step 3: Add sugar
Now taste and add a teaspoon or two of sugar, allowing it to dissolve completely.
Step 4: Add milk
When the water boils, add half a cup of milk. To enhance the Color and Flavor of the tea, boil it for two to three minutes on medium heat.
Step 5 is to strain the tea.
When the tea has boiled well and is of the proper color, turn off the gas. Using a strainer, pour the tea into a cup.
Step 6: Serve and savor
Now it’s time for your hot tea! Serve it immediately and enjoy the tea with snacks or biscuits.
Tip:
You can make healthier tea by using honey instead of sugar, but you should not add the honey until the tea has cooled down.
Black pepper or basil leaves can enhance the therapeutic properties of the tea, especially for coughs and colds.
To make green tea, use only water and tea leaves (never milk).
